Mercury's redesigned Mountaineer went on sale in February 2001 as a 2002 model.  The new Mountaineer of 02 took up right where its  predecessor left off, on top.  With some big improvements and a new look in a ground up redesign, Mercury responded to complaints about ride quality in the older Mountaineer's.  With a new innovative suspension dubbed ?porthole in frame?, Mercury engineers were able to lower the overall height of the Mountaineer to improve stability and maintain a smooth comfortable ride without sacrificing towing or off road capabilities.  The 2005 model keeps all of these great innoventions intact, and in fact, adds to them.  To find out more about this one, contact our Internet Sales Team today!!
